The Youth Club - Zaježovňa

The goal of the Zaježovňa project is to improve relations between young people, strengthen the position of young people in society and increase their competences in preparation for their social and working life.

Activity leaders and lecturers are more in the role of guides in the educational process.

Appreciating mistakes is the way we move forward in Zaježov. Mistakes are welcomed and seen as an opportunity for further development of oneself, but also of the group.

We place great emphasis on the group as a whole. During joint projects, students acquire skills such as: cooperation, the ability to listen to each other, know how to compromise or solve problems. They have the opportunity to learn based on their own experiences, but also from the experience, knowledge and skills of other participants.

Informal education creates a space for group cooperation and thus creates additional opportunities for learning and self-development. The responsibility for the results lies with the leaders of the activities as well as the participants. Participants can decide for themselves what they need to learn, and sometimes how.

Zaježovňa was established in 2020, and information about previous editions can be found here.
